Welcome to Hawkeye Energy Holdings!
Hawkeye Energy Holdings (Hawkeye) is a privately owned, Iowa based renewable energy
company which uses locally produced corn to manufacture and distribute ethanol in
the United States.
Currently Hawkeye has two plant locations in operation and two under construction.
An expansion completed in March of 2006 doubled the capacity of the Iowa Falls,
Iowa location from the originally constructed 50 million gallon per year plant to
a 100 million gallon per year plant. Construction of a 115 million gallon per year
plant was completed in May of 2006, and is in operation near Fairbank, Iowa. Currently
there is a 110 million gallon per year plant under construction near Menlo, Iowa
as well as a 110 million gallon per year plant under construction near Shell Rock,
IA. Once all four are operational, Hawkeye will be the largest ethanol producer
in Iowa and the fourth largest in the U.S.
Hawkeye is committed to being a respected partner in the communities surrounding
our locations. We are committed to employing high quality people and maintaining
a high level of integrity in the way we conduct business.
Hawkeye's plants represent important new markets for corn produced in the direct
proximity of our plants. We are committed to purchasing corn locally, whether direct
from producers or grain dealers. Iowa has a great opportunity to provide food, fiber,
and energy to the world. Hawkeye is excited about the role we play in providing
that opportunity.
